Product Description
The EF81-450 type locomotive was introduced in 1991 to increase the number of freight trains in the Kanmon Tunnel section, and the 451 and 452 locomotives are characterized by their square shape with the lights integrated into the case.
Initially, they were used to pull freight trains and some sleeper trains in the Kanmon Tunnel section, and are currently used to pull freight trains within Kyushu.
This detailed model reproduces the square headlights of the EF81-450 type which are lit by LED, equipped with a constant lighting board and ON-OFF switch. Some assembly is required as the number plate, whistle, handrail and other accesories are not attached.
