Sitecore Developer
BigBad, Inc., an award-winning, Boston-based interactive agency consulting on and implementing solutions to business problems of marketing, workflow and communications, seeks an experienced Sitecore Web Site Developer.
Be part of a small team building modern web sites utilizing state-of-the-art Web Content Management Systems based on the Microsoft.NET platform. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker with a passion for Microsoft technology and a willingness to explore new territory.
Required Skills:
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills
- Familiarity with any Agile software development practices
- Familiarity with Unit Testing
- Experience using a source code control system
- Experience designing databases
- Previous experience with content management systems a plus
- Previous experience building Web 2.0 technologies a plus
- 2-5 years programming ASP.NET in C# - Deep knowledge of the .NET Framework is required
- 1-5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or higher
- 1-5 years experience working with XML & XSLT, particularly within Microsoft.NET
- Previous experience in Microsoft CMS, Ektron CMS400.NET, SharePoint 2007 or Sitecore 5+ a plus
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Must be able to work independently to solve problems
- Must be able to collaborate in teams of 3-5 people
- Must be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members
