BigBad’s Technical Team has openings to work on large SharePoint Web Development projects. The projects consist of cutting-edge large community based web site using the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform. Technologies allow users to personalize their experience and to communicate not only with other users but with the organization as a whole. Other technologies include user personalization, discussions, group creation and management, and a variety of Web 2.0 features.

Development will be written in c#.net and will use the SharePoint Web Content Management features. User Controls and web parts will provide most of the dynamic functionality.

The key for this position is strong SharePoint experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to identify and document technical requirements
  • Create custom web content managed solutions based on the SharePoint 2007 architecture
  • Architect & Implement web applications using ASP.net version 2.0+ in c#
  • Work with and be mentored by Sr. Developers

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of solid development experience in Web-based application development using the .Net framework
  • Solid knowledge of c#
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding and experience with object-oriented design and architectural practices.
  • Experience with the principles of Web Content Management.
  • WSS 3 or MOSS 2007 (preferred)
  • Experience writing custom web parts

Pluses

  • Other CMS experience
  • Experience with team collaborative tools in SharePoint
  • WSS 2
  • Education BS/MS in CA or relevant work experience
