RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: working with project teams to develop and execute test plans and test cases, executing both manual and automated tests, and reporting and documenting test results. In addition, the QA Engineer works throughout the project lifecycle to review and improve the quality of deliverables. QA Engineers will also be involved with the ongoing growth of the Quality Assurance group at BigBad, including training and process improvement.

Quality Assurance Engineers should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively with team members, and balance the needs and timelines of multiple projects.

SKILLS: 2-3 years experience in a PC-related Software Quality Assurance field; experience with test plan / test case development, bug identification, and tracking; experience with both functional testing and performance / load testing; thorough knowledge of Internet-related technologies including browsers, plug-ins, and client operating systems (Windows or Macintosh); good oral and written communication skills. Experience with development technologies including HTML, CSS, ASP, VB, COM, Java, Oracle, and/or SQL Server is a plus.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in a client-oriented environment. A degree in an information technology field is a plus.
