It’s ALL about collaboration
Our process demonstrates our commitment to your involvement in all phases of the project. You see as much as you want to, every step of the way. Before the contract is signed, we establish a project management Web site for you on ProjectView, our secure proprietary extranet (we practice what we preach). Every element of your project is available for your prompt review, including design concepts, schedules, budgets, contact information, and working prototypes. This shortens the approval process and gives you access 24/7 to the progress of your project.
Breakout solutions
BigBad is home to some of the best and most experienced strategy, design and branding talent in the Northeast. We don’t have a “house style” or one-size-fits all solutions. If we did, we wouldn’t be able to design effective messaging for diverse target audiences or technical solutions that align with your internal environment.
Rock-solid programming
Front/back-end, data/presentation and client side/server side—it all needs to work together, seamlessly. We have significant experience developing N-Tier applications, solving business and workflow requirements, integrating ERP applications, and installing and customizing a wide range of industry-standard content management systems (CMS). We have deep knowledge when it comes to delivering innovative HTML/CSS compliant (WC3 and Section 508) interfaces.
Usability is everyone’s job
BigBad conducts contextual inquiry, focus groups, participatory design and heuristics analysis to gain an understanding of the usability of a site, and then leverages this knowledge in the development of improved navigation system and information architecture. And it doesn’t stop there. Visual and technical design development translates these into effective user experiences.
It’s all about the User
Our vision always begins with understanding the User and their relationship to a client’s business objectives. Asking ourselves “What will the user’s experience be?” is the start of our process of developing an implementation strategy that’s designed to fulfill ALL their specific needs, while simultaneously meeting your goals and objectives. We work hard to nail the messaging and voice, usability issues, target audiences, information architecture, technical and functional specifications, and the visual design strategy for the project.
You have three goals
We believe that companies like yours need to do three things well in this business climate: tell your story in a way that speaks quickly and clearly to your target audience, deliver the best possible service to your customers, and build communities around your products and services.
We have one goal
Your return on investment is the core motivator for us. We don’t take on projects to win design awards—we focus on delivering results (though we do win awards along the way). When the site delivers, it is a success.
